Miami Museum of Science

Miami Museum of Science

The Miami Museum of Science, also known as the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum, has played host to temporay exhibitions on science and technology since 1960.

The Miami Science Museum can be found in Biscayne Bay, just around the corner from the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens

Expositions

The expositions in the Science Museum go from the simple, explaining phenomena such as gravity, light, and sound, to the very latest in technology.

And there are some highly entertaining temporary expositions, such as a dancefloor where movement generates electricity, or where you can form part of a giant yo-yo in the energy garden.

Planetarium

In the planetarium, you can find practical lessons on astronomy by seeing for yourself the movement of constellations or can even take a look through the lens of a telescope.
